How is FETE Different from other cat litters and pet beddings?

FETE is made of 100% natural material that acts as a super absorbent and detox that is safe for your pet and your family. Our long-lasting, non-clumping, odor eliminator pet bedding requires less scooping and less trips to the store.

On the other hand, traditional clumping litters turn urine into large (heavy) clumps that need to be scooped out and replaced throughout the month.

FETE absorbs the urine and odor, trapping it inside as the water in the urine evaporates and ammonia is neutralized. The solid waste is dried out. The used FETE can now be used in plant bedding, compost and soil as a nitrogen rich additive that will accelerate the growth of plants.

How long does a 25lb FETE bag last?

FETE is unlike any other cat litter or pet bedding. FETE is not just for cats. FETE is for all small pet lovers and more. Thus, the bag can last from 1 month for a medium size cat in an average size litter box of (12” X 16”) with 2” coverage. FETE can last from 3 to 6 months for birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, chickens, reptiles and much more. Search your pet on our pet drop down for usage. We recommend a 25lb bag lasting 28-45 days size of pet and urination level (heavy urination 1-2.5 weeks with circulation). We do not do not recommend mixing FETE with other brands or absorbing pads as it will reduce the performance and overall benefits of FETE.

How do I use FETE?

Pour the required amount of content of the FETE bag into a clean litter box or your pets enclosure to cover the proper coverage outline in the “My Pet Category” pull down. Make sure you are getting the proper inches of depth. Remove or rake in your pets’ feces as required. When you scoop the feces, make sure to shake off the extra litter granules. Thoroughly rake or mix FETE as required to avoid saturating the same spots in the litter box that cats prefer to urinate in. When the FETE is saturated, typically after a 3 weeks to 1.5 months use based on the classification of your pet.

FETE is a non-clumping pet bedding. The super absorbing naturally occurring bedding neutralizes the ammonia in urine and eliminates odor, trapping it inside as the water in the urine evaporates out. The solid excrement is dried out.

Use FETE in your plant bedding, gardens and compost for a rich in nitrogen soil additive that will amaze the greenest of thumbs. Grow plants with the used FETE and save landfills and hazardous chemicals from seeping into our environment by using FETE.

It is recommended that poop or feces of larger pets be scooped as required. Cats, dogs and animals with poop that sits on the surface of FETE should be scooped regularly to prevent odor. Smaller animals such as guinea pigs, birds and reptiles are able to be raked directly into FETE due to size.

Will my cat have any problems using FETE?

FETE is perfectly safe for your pet and your family. Especially if you have young children that may accidently ingest or inhale FETE. FETE is great for your pet’s health. You may notice a shinier coat and health glow in your pets’ eye. The naturally occurring mineral is used in detox products for humans.

The transition time to FETE is normal once introduced to the pet. We all know cats can be picky. FETE has a natural earth texture which allows for quicker transitions.

We have some tips to help with the transition! Try taking one poop and one urine clump from the old litter and put it into the new FETE fill. Your cat will recognize the familiar smell and know this is still their bathroom. This has been successful in transitioning our feline family members to FETE! Add a 25% layer of the old litter to the top. Your cat will mix it in themselves and then you can use 100% FETE next month when you replace it!

Can FETE be used for multi-cat households?

Absolutely! Multi-cat households love FETE.

If your cats share a litter box. We recommend increasing your usage of FETE to ensure performance and application. Suggest keeping extra bags of FETE on hand so you can isolate their bathrooms to better estimate usage.

Will FETE work in my self-cleaning, automated litter box?

Yes. FETE granular-like texture works great with many automated self-cleaning litter boxes. If your litter box already works well with other litter products it will work great with FETE.

What are the ingredients of FETE?

FETE is made of super 100% natural products. Additionally, our manufacturing facility uses the highest quality control standards.

How effective is FETE at odor control?

Our super absorbent eliminates odor by neutralizing ammonia in urine and traps smell inside (not clumping around it) and drying out feces. By drying out your cat’s waste, FETE is obliterating odors even before you have a chance to scoop.

Does FETE clump?

As long as you keep FETE dry and protect it from moisture, you can store it for extended periods if it remains unused or unopened. To help avoid the potential of expired FETE and to maintain maximum freshness, we recommend that pet owners store the cat litter in a cool, dry place, avoiding areas with high moisture levels such as bathrooms and laundry rooms.
